BriefDesk operates in East Africa Time (EAT), which is UTC plus 3. This means we overlap comfortably with UK mornings and UAE business hours, and can also accommodate early US East Coast windows. We discuss your preferred working hours during onboarding and align accordingly.
How do I communicate with my VA?
We work with whatever tools you already use: email, WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet. You do not need to set up anything new. During onboarding we agree on the communication rhythm that works best for you.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
We recommend a minimum of one month to allow for proper onboarding and workflow alignment. After that, arrangements are flexible and can be adjusted monthly based on your needs. Project-based engagements are also available for specific tasks.
How do payments work for international clients?
International clients are billed in USD. We accept bank transfers and mobile payment options. Payment terms are agreed upfront during the proposal stage. Invoices are issued monthly at the start of each billing period.
Can I start with a trial before committing to a full package?
